How are Open School courses taught?

Open School courses use a variety of resources for content delivery including video, text, and simulations. Although the learning is experienced independently without any scheduled live classes, students have direct contact with the instructor who will provide personalized and targeted support whenever needed.
Each course is divided into a series of three-week intervals or “milestones”. Individual assignments do not have specific due dates, but students must be at a certain point in the course at each milestone. This framework provides students flexibility within each interval to work at their own pace and allows them to find a school-life balance that fits their needs.
